Pre-Sales Questions
We recommend using our Bulb Finder tool. Select your vehicle's year, make, model, and bulb location, and we will provide a recommendation (for reference only). To ensure accuracy, please consult your vehicle's user manual or remove the bulb to check the model number. If you have any questions, please contact our team at support@oxilam.com or use our Contact Us page for assistance.
We offer LED replacement bulbs for most automotive applications, including interior lights, license plate lights, turn signals, brake lights, and fog lights. Most OXILAM LED bulbs are designed to be CANbus error-free, featuring built-in circuitry or decoders that prevent electromagnetic interference (EMI) from affecting vehicle CANbus communications. However, some bulbs may not be error-free; please check the specific product page for detailed information.
CANbus anti-flicker decoders are used to solve flickering issues that may occur when installing LED bulbs. Whether to purchase one depends on several factors:
- Vehicle Type: Some vehicles have sensitive CANbus systems (e.g., Jeep, Ram, Chevy) that may trigger a bulb-out warning when aftermarket bulbs are installed. If your vehicle falls into this category, we recommend purchasing a CANbus anti-flicker decoder along with your LED bulbs.
- LED Bulb Type: Some of our LED bulbs are designed to be CANbus compatible, reducing the need for additional decoders. Choosing these bulbs can help you avoid purchasing a decoder.
- Flicker Severity: If you have already installed LED bulbs that are experiencing severe flickering, purchasing a CANbus anti-flicker decoder may be worth considering.
Absolutely! Our website features detailed installation guides and video tutorials to help you easily install the bulbs. You can find relevant links on the product pages.
LED bulb brightness is measured in lumens (LM). You can choose the appropriate lumen value based on your needs. Generally, a higher lumen value means brighter light. Please refer to our product pages for brightness information on different models.

Post-Sales Questions
The start-up current of LED bulbs is significantly lower than that of traditional halogen bulbs, which can result in residual current in the vehicle's original circuit, leading to flickering. The vehicle's ECU monitors circuit resistance to determine the bulb status; LED bulbs typically have lower resistance, which may falsely trigger a "bulb failure" warning. Installing a decoder usually resolves this issue.
Here are some potential reasons:
- Power Issues: LED bulbs require stable power. If the voltage is unstable or there is a short circuit, the bulb may turn off. Installing a decoder may help resolve this issue.
- Overheat Protection: Some LED bulbs have overheat protection features that automatically shut off the bulb to prevent damage. This can occur if the bulb has poor heat dissipation or the surrounding temperature is too high. Ensure there is enough space for heat dissipation and reduce continuous usage time.
If you find that one of the bulbs doesn't light up, it may be due to improper installation or misalignment of the contact points. Here are our recommended solutions:
- Ensure the bulb is fully screwed into the socket and that it makes solid contact with the metal contact points. If the issue persists, try moving the bulb to another socket in the same fixture to see if the problem lies with the bulb itself.
- If the bulb is defective, please contact customer support for a replacement.
If you experience any quality issues with the LED bulbs during use, please contact customer support within 30 days of purchase. We will assist you according to our return and exchange policy.
Regularly checking and cleaning LED bulbs can extend their lifespan. Use a clean, dry cloth to gently wipe the surface of the bulb, avoiding chemical cleaners. Ensure the bulb is cool before cleaning to prevent burns.
